Sat Chandi Puja

Satchandi Puja is performed along with Satchandi yajna to please the specific Goddess and by Chandi, we mean ‘mother’, whom we are seeking to help. When people perform Sat Chandi Paath Yajna, together as one, it is becoming one of the most influential texts of the Hindu religion. It grants blessings and privileges to everyone as it is known that fire demolishes everything.

The significance of it lies especially in the Navaratri, as a Paath and yajna of Durga Saptashati are usually done. It is a sacrificial ritual of great influence, that has the strength of chanting mantras of the Durga Saptashathi Paath, falls during the festival of Navratri. It is a distinct Puja and has the energy of Durga Saptashati Mantra and people chant it during the Navratri. It perishes all the ill planetary effects that can influence our lives.

People do the pooja on the auspicious time i.e., on a full moon night. As per our Panditji, it is the full moon day that provides us with all the positive energies which are mixed with the energy of the mantras. It bestows us with positive vibes in nature. It helps in the purification of our body and soul.

The Satchandi Puja Yajna is similar to the Durga Saptashati Paath. It justifies the success of the Godmother above the demon Mahishasura. The fundamental purpose of the Sat Chandi Puja Yajna is to have awareness about the Goddess and to solicit her blessings as she is the carrier of worldly energy and has strength that helps us to conquer all the problems and battles of life.

The Satchandi Paath along with the samputit paath focuses on the worship of deity as a mother and samputit focus to enrich the fruitfulness of the Chandi Paath and eliminate all the miseries of life.

Pandit Shriniwasji performs this puja and yajna along with the samputit paath, as it is a form of his devotion to God. He conducts it with fondness, faith, and modesty to worship the goddess and that everyone could get the most blessings from God.
